I have been photographing Miss Avery since she was 3 months old. She is such a doll...she has grown before my eyes. One reason I love my job, I get to watch my clients grow up and change. Here are some from her session last Monday.

I photographed these two cutie patooties on Friday evening. Chance is the best big brother, he was so sweet and loving to his little sis. And she obviously loves him. Here are some of my favorites from their session.

I had a morning session with Landon and his family on Friday. Usually morning sessions, to me, are harder, you are working against the light instead of it working with you, the sun is coming up and getting stronger, etc. but on this morning I didn't struggle. I either have my morning mojo now or it was not full sun. Either way we had a great session and what a cutie this little guy is. They are new clients, and I hope that they will come back to me for his one year. Here are some of my absolute favorites from this session. Thank you to Megan Morris for the referral as well.

3 months is such a hard age to photograph, to me. While they are making great eye contact and have smiles now, they aren't doing much else. They can't sit up or push up while on their belly, usually. So that is why that it is always great when mom and dad will be in the 3 month session, more variety and maybe more smiles. Jonah did not want to look at me during this session...we worked hard for the shots I got, haha. Here are a few from their session at Tower Grove on Thursday.

I love these girls and their mommy! Actually I love their "aunties" also. There are three sisters and I am so fortunate to be the photographer for all of them. They are some of my favorite people to photograph. Always have great ideas, beautiful outfits for their kids and we always have a great time! Griffyn's session was all about him putting on "movies" for me. He brought all of his dress up clothes and we went through the different "Movies" even though I didn't get much of the dialogue like his mom said that she gets on a nightly basis when he does "movies" for her, I think I got some pretty great shots of him being a "kid" :)

These girls are some of the sweetest I know. We took these out at their grandma and grandpa's farm, soon to be sold. The object, to document the girls there, preserve those memories. I think that is why I love photography so much, it captures a moment and keeps it from running away, there is a quote like that somewhere. ;) Here are a few from our session on Saturday morning.

Little Miss Ella, what can I say but she is the cutest thing ever! I did her latest session at her house in Soulard, which I love by the way, such a cool neighborhood. Purely to document her being 2, etc. We had fun..here is a peek into her session! :)

I love gaining new clients. Jackson is 3 months old and I hope to be able to photograph him for a long time. He is the cutest thing and he has the best name ever. ;) We had a warm, sticky, bug filled session, but it turned out pretty nice in the end.

I get absolutely giddy with excitement when a client tells me they want something different than the normal "sit and smile" session. Mom wanted some of her little girl playing, I have had this idea in my head for a while, so it seemed like the perfect time to try a tea party shoot! This little one was a baby package holder last year. We did her last session around her 1st birthday. I was so happy when her mom contacted me to do her 2nd year photos. :) And now mom is pregnant with #2, so another Hoven to photograph! It was so hot this day, but I think little miss did pretty well....here is a peek into her session.
